Welcome to the Bracket Ace tournament home page and registration site for the 2023 Chris Foley Memorial Wallball tournament!  We look forward to another great summer event.  Tournament details as follows... -Tournament ball will be the Penn Big Blue.  Games to 25, timeout at 15, win by 1; Eye guards required, no exceptions -Consolation bracket sign up optional -Registration fee includes lunch Saturday and Sunday, player gift, tournament desk drinks and snacks -Losers from prior matches will be the ref on the same court for ensuing matches; ref clinic to be held Saturday morning -DIVISIONS: Open Doubles, B Doubles, Open Singles and B Singles.  Novice / JR Division is available, which will be published depending on entries.  **Each Draw is capped at 32 slots; they will be filled on a First Come, First Served Basis!!  Get registered early!!**  Tournament directors reserve the right to reassign entries to different draws if deemed necessary. -FEES: $50 entry, $20 per additional draw.  Checks payable to Quinn Foley, Venmo transactions sent to @Quinning101.  CASH PURSE AWARDED TO FINALISTS IN BOTH OPEN SINGLES AND OPEN DOUBLES DRAWS -FIRST MATCHES WILL START  AT 5PM CENTRAL ON FRIDAY, 8/11 Please ensure you are able to play at that time when registering.  Reach out to one of the directors if this is an issue and we will accommodate if possible.  If only playing in a doubles event, please register yourself and list your partner even if your partner has already registered and listed you. -ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Please plan to be present for the majority of the weekend; we are limited to 2 courts and the schedule will more than likely shift one direction or the other.  You will be notified if you are first on Saturday and / or Sunday morning at 8am - please arrive on time to warm up and start your matches.  If we are ahead of schedule, we will keep the needle moving and we need everyone's help to be ready early / often for that to happen.  Furthermore, it is expected all players are present at the event to show support (and ref / watch lines / chase down handballs) for the weekend as able.  Lawn chairs are encouraged when loading up your cars, as there are no benches / bleachers at the park.  There is a park restroom available just across the street at Newell Park, though we will have a satellite restroom on site for the weekend.  Large trash bags are at the desk for discarding - PLEASE JOIN US IN EFFORTS TO KEEP THE PARK CLEAN.  There is plenty of space for families to set up blankets, tables, chairs, tents, etc. - all ages welcome!
