ELIGIBILITY: Open, A, B, C, Women and Novice - any age.  Juniors must be 19 or under, Senior players 30 and over, Master players 40 and over, Golden Master players 50 and over, Super Master players 60 and over, and Diamond Master players 70 and over. (Ages as of calendar year 2025.) Novice – any age, no tournament experience prior to 2025 Please indicate your second choice if your selected division is not held.  The tournament committee reserves the right to reclassify players to provide the most competitive tournament.  Only divisions with 7+ entries well be held.
ENTRY FEE: Entry fee is $70 - see below for special rates for students and juniors.  Annual MSHA membership is free with your participation. Scholarships are available to help defray the cost of entering the tournament – contact the tournament director. Undergraduate students must be registered students in Minnesota at the time of the tournament.  Novice is subject to student fee.
ENTRY DEADLINE: Entries must be in our possession by NOON, Friday, November 14, 2025.  Payment due at tournament.  MSHA Annual Meeting at Noon on Saturday

HOSPITALITY: Provided throughout tournament. Food voucher for use during the event. Saturday Night Banquet at Banquets of Minnesota
AWARDS: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and consolation in all full divisions.  Top MSHA finishers receive state championship awards and are recorded as 2025 finalists. Souvenir to all players.  All players guaranteed two matches.
* Race 4 Eight Pre Qualifier The Winner of the Men's Open Singles will be awarded a $300 travel stipend to the 2025/26 Race 4 Eight event of their choice. The $300 travel will be dispensed upon completion of the MSHA Open Singles champion's first match at the 2025/26 Race 4 Eight event in which the winner plays. The travel stipend cannot be transferred to another player.
REFEREES: Losers must referee the next match on the same court. (Except novices)
RULES: Current USHA rules are in effect. Sportsmanship rules (technicals) will be enforced for the benefit of players, referees and spectators. Eye guards are required and must be properly worn.
